The Purpose of the Israeli Osteopathic Association (IOA):

to encourage the development of osteopathy in Israel on the lines of sound knowledge and practice and to improve the educational standards of our members by providing continuing professional development.   to supervise the ethical behaviour and professional conduct of the practitioners registered by the Israeli Osteopathic Association.   to keep a register of persons qualified to practise osteopathy in conformity with the standards of the Israeli Osteopathic Association.   to encourage recognition by the Misrad HaBriyut (Health Ministry) and co-operation with health care organisations and insurance companies for the benefit of members and patients.   to provide for the inspection of colleges and courses of osteopathy in Israel.
